Important Information

EEMS will contribute to the ICEM program by hosting a Young Scientist session. The 2013 Young Scientist Award lecture will be part of this session. In addition, the EEMS will host the 2013 Fritz Sobels Award ceremony.
Nominations for the 2013 Fritz Sobels Award and the Young Scientist Award can be submitted via the Regional Councillors or directly to the EEMS Vice President. Deadline for accepting nominations is February 28, 2013.
In addition, speaker proposals for the Young Scientist Session can be submitted via the Councillors or directly to the EEMS Vice President. Deadline for accepting proposals is February 28, 2013.
EEMS will offer a limited number of travel grants for Young Scientists. Travel grant form available for download here.

EEMS will fund up to five (5) Young Scientists who will present their work in the EEMS Young Scientist Session at the ICEM. The EXCOM has approved a Travel Grant of €1.500 for each of the five YS.
The following rules and requirements apply for nomination (Form for download here):
-    Age of applicant <35 as of November 2013
-    At least 1 year member of EEMS
-    Title of presentation and abstract
-    Letter of support by supervisor

Nominations can be submitted via the Regional Councillors or directly to the EEMS Vice President. Deadline for accepting nominations is March 29, 2013.
